Question: Why do I need to be the one who fills out of the claim forms and gets an estimate when I am not the one who caused the damage?
Answer: As the owner of the property, you will need to send us a written statement as to why you believe our FedEx driver is liable for the damages and to obtain estimates from a contractor that you are comfortable with working on your property. For liability purposes, we cannot hire someone to make the repairs to your property.
Question: What kind of estimate do I need to provide?
Answer: Estimates can be from a contractor or repair shop of your choosing. If the damaged item/property has to be replaced because it is not able to be repaired, an estimate for the item or something similar can be provided. This can be a screenshot or link to the replacement item or a copy of the receipt from the purchase of the original item.

Answer: No. Please submit all of the required information so your claim can be properly evaluated.
Question: If I can’t submit photos, will my claim be denied?
Answer: No. We will still move forward with our investigation. However, photos are important and will help move the process along.
Question: What if I refuse to get an estimate?
Answer: Unfortunately, your claim cannot be investigated or processed without at least one estimate.
